Libraries Offer Orchestra Passes

Lancaster Symphony Orchestra (LSO) will partner with local public libraries to provide family symphony orchestra passes for public borrowing. The family symphony pass is the newest component of LSO's nationally recognized Sound Discovery Community Engagement Programs, which engage, build, and strengthen the community through imaginative and unique musical experiences.

The LSO impacts the lives of students across Lancaster County through the Gift of Music instrument loan program, instrument petting zoos, annual Music Discovery concerts, and open rehearsals. With the addition of the family symphony pass, students and their families will now be able to enjoy a free concert in the LSO's Classic Series.

Passes are currently available at the Columbia Public Library, the Lancaster Public Library (Lancaster City Branch), Lancaster Public Library East - Leola Branch, Lancaster Public Library West - Mountville Branch, Quarryville Library, and the Salisbury Township Branch in Gap. While the passes reside at these six libraries, they are available for reserve at all public libraries of Lancaster County and the Bookmobile through interlibrary loan.
