Books such as these in front of circulation assistant Erin Brennan will be available at the book sale hosted by the Friends of the Mountville Branch Library on April 11 and 12.

The Friends of the Mountville Branch Library will hold a book sale on Friday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale will be held at the Mountville Church of the Brethren, located directly across from the library at 60 Clay St., Mountville.

“After the winter we've had, it's time to think about our summer reading plans,” commented Friends member Karen Denlinger. “What better way to get a jump-start on books for the summer than to visit our book sale!”

Books for all ages will be available and priced to sell. Credit cards will be accepted. Refreshments will also be offered for purchase. Parking will be available free of charge.

All proceeds from the sale will directly benefit the library, which is a branch of the Lancaster Public Library. It is housed in the Mountville Area Community Center, 120 College Ave., Mountville. More information about Lancaster Public Library book sales is available at
